Strengthening Education
Smart education policy is the key to the economic resurgence Michigan needs. I will fight to ensure that our local schools have the resources they need to give our children a high-quality education. Teachers and paraprofessionals are on the front line of the battle to educate our future generations. We should not make that fight any harder by creating disparities by under-funding or further burdening school districts. We must have a fair and equitable education system. We must provide adequate funding for K-12 and institutions of higher education and we must invest in students if we expect a better future for our State.
